The last time I was in the Bahamas, I received only a tiny glimpse of local pride when the national swim team rolled into town, music blaring and bearing the iconic flag of black, gold and aquamarine.

For those of you celebrating today, I’d like to wish you a very happy Columbus Day. If you’re in one of the 15 states or 130 individual U.S. cities that has decided to ditch Columbus, happy Indigenous People’s day.

There’s been so much news over the last few days that it’s a bit difficult keeping up with it all.

Well, it finally happened. The president of the United States caught COVID-19, joining the likes of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, both of whom are also quite famous for downplaying the affects of the virus.

A glitch. That’s what they’re saying brought down the world’s third-largest market for an entire trading day this morning in Japan.

The feeling of nostalgia can be a powerful motivator for a brand, and not just for me, as I’m sure many of you have also probably spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours as a child playing video games.
